Educational partnership agreement between MM21 DHC and Minato Mirai Honcho (Yokohama municipal) Primary School
In March 2019, MM21 DHC concluded an educational partnership agreement with Minato Mirai Honcho (Yokohama municipal) Primary School. Aiming to be of assistance in education for sustainable development (ESD) and teaching about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the environment, MM21 DHC provides Minato Mirai Honcho Primary School with opportunities to visit the Company’s plants on observation tours.

Activity Results

FY2019

Observation tour of the Company’s plants by 190 people, comprising pupils in the third to sixth years and their teachers
Enterprise training of school employees: 2 teachers accepted
Donation of cherry trees for the primary school’s schoolyard

FY2020

Donation of eco-bags printed with the SDGs logo, for distribution to all pupils at the school
Donation of class nameplates made using scrap wood from cherry trees

FY2021

Sixth-year pupils: Lessons at the school about the Company’s operations

FY2022

Fourth-to-fifth-year pupils and teachers: Plant tour with 140 participants
Enterprise training of school employees: 2 teachers accepted
