Information on the cold energy and thermal energy conversion factors for heating and cooling supply business used under the Building Energy Efficiency Act

Information on the cold energy and thermal energy conversion factors for heating and cooling supply business used under the Building Energy Efficiency Act is linked below.
The calculation of factors was based on the Guidelines on Calculation of Cold Energy and Thermal Energy Conversion Factors in the Heat Supply Industry, established by the Japan Heat Supply Business Association (JHSBA) on June 30, 2017.
We have not calculated these factors since fiscal 2018, as our installation of cogeneration equipment placed our operations outside the scope of the aforementioned guidelines.
Currently, the primary energy conversion factors can be calculated based on the heat volume sold and input/fuel consumption volume listed in the JHSBA’s Heat Supply Business Handbook, and can be used to assess the conformity of energy efficiency measures.
