  • City of Yokohama decides policy on introduction of DHC. (August)

1986


  • General Meeting of Shareholders is held to establish Minato Mirai 21 District Heating and Cooling Co., Ltd. (MM21 DHC) (October)
  • Registration of company establishment is complete. (October)

1987

  • Approval is obtained for a heating and cooling supply business. (December) 
  • Construction begins on Center Plant. (December) 

1989

  • Yokohama Exotic Showcase (YES ’89) (April–October)
  • Yokohama Maritime Museum (now Yokohama Port Museum) (April)
  • Construction of Center Plant is completed. (February)
  • Supply regulations are approved. (March)
  • Heating and cooling supply begins. (April)

1991
