DBJ BCM rating
The DBJ BCM rating is a rating service that evaluates and selects companies with outstanding practices in disaster preparedness and business continuity measures (BCM). The service uses an original evaluation system developed by the Development Bank of Japan (DBJ).
MM21 DHC positions continuity and rapid recovery of heating and cooling supply as key targets of its 2030 Vision. To reach those targets, we are establishing a company-wide system for disaster preparedness and business continuity, increasing the resilience of our equipment and buildings; and reinforcing disaster prevention measures.
In March 2025, we received the highest DBJ BCM rating for our outstanding disaster preparedness and business continuity initiatives.
Y-SDGs
The City of Yokohama has established the Y-SDGs as a Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) certification system for encouraging companies and organizations to meet the SDGs. The Y-SDGs evaluate and certify companies and organizations according to four categories: Environment, Society, Governance, and Community.
MM21 DHC’s efforts to solve environmental problems through its heating and cooling business were evaluated as contributing to Goal 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy) and Goal 13 (Climate Action) of the SDGs. Out of three certification ranks—Standard, Superior, and Supreme—we received a Superior rating.
Yokohama Good Balance Companies
Yokohama Good Balance Companies is a program established by the City of Yokohama for certifying companies that make exemplary efforts to provide a supportive work environment.
Its purpose is to support active roles for women in the workplace, help employees to achieve work-life balance, and to assist companies in attracting and retaining talent.
Criteria for certification range widely and include items such as the management philosophy and system for advancing it, correction of excessive work hours, encouraging employees to take leave, promoting diverse and flexible workstyles, and supporting the balancing of work with childcare and eldercare.
- MM21 DHC provides employees with supportive work environments through short- and long-term leaves, shortened work hours, working from home, and other arrangements. We earned high marks for our promotion of diverse and flexible workstyles that enable employees to balance work with childcare and eldercare.
