Center Plant

Located near Sakuragicho Station, Center Plant is a facility with six floors above ground and one below. It began supplying heating and cooling in April 1989.

Center Plant’s heating and cooling equipment includes a large-scale ice storage system, electric centrifugal chillers, absorption chillers, water-pipe boilers, and furnace-type fire-tube boilers, providing customers with stable supplies of heating and cooling.

In January 2019 the plant introduced a gas-engine cogeneration system, achieving further energy savings by reducing peak electrical power and recovering waste heat.
